Camp Lakeview has been a huge part of my life ever since I was a little kid. In 5th grade, my new friends and their families told me about this awesome place called Camp Lakeview and invited me along. My expectations were exceeded, and I could not wait to go again. Camp Lakeview became the highlight of my summer for the next 7 years. My experiences as a camper and junior counselor have had a massive impact on me and my faith life. It has been a major factor in my decision to pursue a career in church work. I was blessed to be given the opportunity to be a full-time counselor for the first time this past summer, but due to the pandemic, the camp had to cancel its summer programs. The experiences I've had at camp have been unforgettable and I hope that camp will be able to provide a similar impact and excitement for kids in the future.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Camp Lakeview was unable to function at its full capacity. The camp was forced to cancel their primary summer camp ministry programs. This lack of ministry-sustaining income has taken a toll and put the future of camp at risk. I understand that the pandemic has been difficult for many, however, if you have the means to donate, it would be greatly appreciated by me and Lakeview Ministries. Every little bit helps. If the $1,000 goal is met, I will do a Lake Michigan polar plunge in December and post it on social media!
Thank you for your consideration!
