Racing Group Wine Gift Set$275
The Racing Series wines by Adobe Road are comprised of four ultra-premium, California red blends inspired by moments on the race track. RedLine, Shift, The24, and Apex. Apex - Pours a dark purple-black into the glass. Licorice, plumbs, wet stones and blackberries lead the way, with smoked meat and wild blueberries framed by medium-firm tannin. The 24 - This blend features a healthy dose of fresh, fruity Grenache mixed with an almost equal portion of darker, spicier Mourvedre. Syrah holds the backbone of smooth tannin and velvety mouthfeel. But, here's the secret: 9% Malbec makes the whole thing burst with intensity! SHIFT is a daring combination of Zinfandel, Barbera, Grenache, Petite Sirah, and Carignane. Redline jumps out of the glass with ripe blackberries, black cherry, licorice, and a hint of toasty oak. A broad mouthfeel meets ultra plush texture on the palate, delivering chocolate covered blueberries and blackberry pie with wafts of hardwood charcoal grill. Silky tannins frame the incredibly smooth finish.

2017 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay:
Our Chardonnay grapes are sourced from the Roberts Road Vineyard, crown jewel of the Sangiacomo winegrowing family. Marked by coastal winds, foggy mornings, and well-draining gravel soils, this site enjoys a long, slow, and even growing season. Honeyed, sleek and round, with floral elements and saline citrus notes complementing buttery apple and pear tart aromas. The palate is a polished ball of golden orchard fruits and lemon curd. Focused and long, the mineral-driven finish lights up with notes of warm clove, vanilla and fresh lemon zest.
2017 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir:
Our goal with this bottling is an elegant, easy-drinking wine with all the qualities of classic Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
Lovely raspberry and wild strawberry nose, with gentle notes of forest floor. The velvety palate brings plush red fruits and fresh strawberry-rhubarb compote, with elegant layers of fennel seed, allspice and cocoa powder notes. Fresh acidity slants in and carries the fruit into a long finish of raspberry and black tea.
2016 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon:
Rooted in the heart of Napa Valley's bench-land, our small but mighty vineyard sources are family-owned estates that share our passion for elegant Napa Cabernet. These hand-picked sites provide a rich diversity of aromas and texture that show off the best of their appellation. Our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon delivers charismatic black fruit and earth-driven aromas in a silky smooth package. Juicy blackcurrant and wild blackberries meet graphite, subtle toast and spice on the palate. Structured but seamless, it offers grace and complexity the entire length of its confident, unhurried finish.
Sine Qua Non 11 Confessions E$450
Value: $400. Critical Acclaim - a TRUE CULT Wine - 2015 rated 100 Pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate This is a single-vineyard Grenache-dominated, barrel-selection blend coming from the Eleven Confessions Estate vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills. It bears Elaine Krankl's initial and a portrait Manfred made of Elaine on the label. The blend is 82% Grenache, 12% Syrah, 5% Petite Syrah and 1% Viognier, and 56% was fermented using whole clusters. It was aged for around 38 months in French oak, 28% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Grenache E slides beguilingly out of the glass with a powerfully evocative, earthy/meaty nose of wood smoke, grilled meats, fragrant soil, truffles and iron ore with a core of kirsch, blackberry pie, Black Forest cake and aniseed plus touches of wild sage, rose hip tea and Indian spices. The palate is full-bodied, surprisingly muscular and built like a brick house with an unbelievable structure of very fine, densely pixilated tannins supporting the generous, multi-faceted layers, finishing with epic length, jaw-dropping texture and tons of cerebral mineral and spice nuances. WOW! 900 cases, 228 magnums and 30 double magnums were made.
Spottswoode Cabernet Sauvignon$375
Value: $300. 2016 Spottswoode Cabernet Robert Parker - WOW, 100 pts. Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is still very tight and youthful, slowly unfurling to reveal a multifaceted wine with tons of black, blue and red fruit sparks - plums, cherries, black currants and red currants - with dark chocolate, cedar chest, black tea and red roses in the background plus wafts of pencil lead and prosciutto. Medium-bodied and firmly textured by superbly ripe, grainy tannins, it has a fantastic core of intense, complex layers, finishing on an edifying mineral note.
