Zoo Zoom
$310You're bidding on a Virtual Encounter with one of your favorite animals at the Oregon Zoo! Invite one of the Oregon Zoo's residents to join your group, and an animal caregiver will also be on hand to answer questions.
Experience length: 15 minutes
Location: Any platform compatible with a smartphone: (i.e., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting.) Meeting invite sent by client.
Two time slots are available per day: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., as available.
You have your choice to meet: the resident three-banded armadillo, Josie the two-toed sloth, the North American river otters, Zuberi the Southern ground hornbill, the resident Giraffes, owls, elephants, a scaly tortoise, Bebeto the prehensile-tailed porcupine, harbor seals, Pele the blue and gold macaw, Humboldt penguins, Oshi the toco toucan, or the zoo's resident lemur!
All animals have the choice to participate in these experiences and benefit from the stimulation. Any program involving our resident animals is subject to change or cancellation based on the animals' choices and needs. Occasionally, they may decide not to take part in some activities (or take a nap instead). If this happens, the zoo will do their best to accommodate with a new time or different animal.

About Paige: "Paige Powell, a Portland girl from a pioneer family, has led a most interesting life, most of it with a camera in tow. She worked for the Portland Zoo, and for Nike before it was Nike. In the 1970s and 80's she worked for Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine and had a romance with Jean- Michel Basquiat. She spent many years in the New York art and artist world.
At the same time Paige has always been a passionate animal activist. Among her other animal activities she founded and oversaw the first online animal welfare magazine (arkonline), hosted a rescue oriented cable TV show in NY and when she returned to Portland she was a founding Board Member of The Pixie Project.
in 2019, GUCCI published a four volume set of Paige's photos and commentary and has sponsored an around the world book signing and event tour for Paige."
