Bacon Biscuits & Country Gravy



1 package bacon

Biscuit mix 


1 package gravy

3 cups water 

Precooked sausage (optional) 


Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Line a cookie sheet with foil and lay out your bacon. Cook in the oven for 15-25 minutes (depending on preference). 

Once bacon is done, crumble it up and add to your biscuit mix. 

Add some extra flour and knead your mix. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and roll out the biscuit mixture. Use a biscuit cutter or a glass to cut your biscuits out. Place on the prepared cookie sheet. 

Cook the biscuits in the oven until the tops are golden brown. 

Make the gravy - combine your gravy package and water in a large pot. Bring the mixture to a boil, constantly whisking so it does not burn (about 10 minutes). Add pre-cooked sausage if applicable. 

Top your prepared biscuits with gravy and enjoy! Serve with hot sauce or tabasco.
