Arizona Fire and Medical Authority - Latin Lasagna

Latin Lasagna 



1 tbsp. olive oil

1 cup white onion 

1 tbsp. minced garlic 

2 lbs. ground beef

2 cans chopped olives 

2 cans green chilies

1 can Rotel 

1 can refried beans 

2 packets taco seasoning 

1 bottle taco sauce 

1 package flour tortillas 

1 large bag shredded cheese 

Optional toppings: sour cream, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, etc. 


Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. 

Sauté the white onion and minced garlic on your stovetop with olive oil. 

Add the ground beef and brown until no pink remains. 

Add olives, green chilies, Rotel, refried beans, taco seasoning, and taco sauce. Turn the heat down and let the mixture simmer and thicken. 

Layer your lasagna in an oven safe pan - beef mixture, tortillas, cheese 

Bake for 30 minutes. 

Top with optional toppings. Enjoy!
