Inspiration: It was late in the day in January and the light was just fantastic so I took the backroads home from a day of snowboarding at Stowe. I had passed this barn several times before but on this occasion, with the summit clouds on Hunger Mountain , a touch of blue sky and perfectly untouched snow, it was a quick u-turn to take a few photos.

Inspiration: This is one of my favorite angles of Boston, where the Custom House Tower fits perfectly between these two buildings. In this moment from a recent drive, as I looked up from the darkness, my eyes gravitated to the beautiful golden sunlight cast upon the clocktower and it brought me hope amidst our current world. This structure has been here for over 100 years, standing tall and strong, ever turning towards the future. It got me thinking about the passing of time; how fast it can go, how life changing it can be, and also how important this period of slowing down is. We're going through a historic moment in human history... now more than ever we must show our strength, courage, and passion to keep moving forward, through this time, together.

Inspiration: While on an observational drive through the city, the emptiness of the streets was powerful and spoke deeply to me. I'm usually in awe at the contrast of old and new architecture in Boston, but here, the stark contrast of an empty city is what caught my attention. For me, this is an incredibly moving image not simply because of its quietness, but moreover because it shows our strength and our collective willingness to stay home for the greater good of everyone. I choose to see hope, hear gratitude, and feel love when I look at it. The streets will be full again one day, when the time is right, but for now we have this moment to shift our perspective and maybe see the world a bit differently.
