Inspiration: Inspired by the morning light on the native lobster boats
Inspiration: I am always inspired to paint lobster boats when their reflections bask calmly in the surrounding water. This particular day was quite foggy, but when the fog began to lift, this shining star with its beautiful reflections was calling to me to paint.

Inspiration: Pristine calm summer morning. I watched this rower coming in to shore. As I admired his boat, we looked at each other briefly as though we knew each other, but we didn't. I just had to paint it and capture the beauty of the moment.
