Your $50 contribution purchases a flat of wildflowers (38 plants) for planting in Lincoln Park. To ensure the plants' health and viability, we conduct plantings in the spring and fall only. These wildflowers are native to the region and make a great addition to any of our natural areas around Lincoln Park. Our staff determines the species and location based on habitat needs. A recipient of your choice will receive a notification letter, informing them of the dedication. Upon planting, we will share the location and species of the wildflowers.

This beautiful bronze leaf shows your support for Lincoln Park's newest and most unique play experience while acknowledging your gift or honoring a loved one with a lovely, embossed leaf on the Playscape's donor wall. As part of our restoration of North Pond, we plan to replace the benches around the pond over the next two years. Normally $12,000, this Auction-only opportunity is $10,000 per bench, which covers a 10-year period and includes an engraved plaque to acknowledge your support. This is a limited-time opportunity: only ten benches are available at this pricing level during the Auction!

Each $35 donation purchases a grouping of pollinator plants for the four hillside lily gardens at the corners of the Deming Underpass into Lincoln Park. Additional plantings will enhance the beauty of this historic Park entry point, provide food and habitat for pollinating insects, and reduce soil run-off and erosion.

These gardens were originally conceived of and spearheaded by long-time Conservancy and Lincoln Park champion Matthew Cook. These additional plantings are in memory of Matthew and all he did for the Park!

Each $45 donation buys litter pickers, masks, sanitizer, bags, water, snacks, and a Conservancy t-shirt for one of our dedicated volunteer/staff litter patrols, who work daily to keep North Pond and the surrounding area free of trash and litter.

Each $75 donation supports a Visitor Services position for a day at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. With the help of the Conservancy, the Chicago Park District re-opened the Conservatory this spring. Our dedicated Visitor Services staffers manage admissions, answer questions, and ensure all visitors enjoy their time in the Conservatory while maintaining social distancing and ensuring compliance with state and local guidelines. Your support helps us offer this new service in support of the Conservatory!

Mulching trees keeps their roots well supported and helps direct water and nutrients where they are needed most. Each $150 donation provides mulch for 10 to 15 park trees. With mulch donated by our generous supporters, Conservancy volunteers will mulch up to 500 trees from July to September!

Be a part of North Pond's restoration! Each $250 donation helps us expand the natural areas around North Pond by adding additional trees and native plants. Expansion of these natural areas provides habitat for native and migratory birds, shelter for a variety of animals, food for nature's pollinators, and shade for the millions of people who visit the pond each year. They also provide valuable ecosystem services by capturing and filtering stormwater and sequestering carbon. Our restoration staff and dedicated North Pond Gardeners volunteer crew will plant these natural areas this summer and fall, just as the restoration of North Pond is beginning!

Each $500 donation supports a group work-day in the park for our volunteers. Each year, thousands of volunteers make our stewardship work possible by helping us plant native plants and trees, control invasive plants and weeds, mulch and prune trees, collect garbage and recyclables from the park, and a variety of other important tasks. Your donation provides tools and supplies, water and refreshments, facemasks and sanitizer, and program coordination to support our loyal volunteers!

The Conservancy and Chicago Park District worked hard last fall and this spring to clean up and prune back plants at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool, in addition to removing several diseased or damaged trees. While this clearing back is important, we now need to fill in the gaps with new native trees. Each $750 donation will buy one native tree to be planted in the Lily Pool this fall, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of its restoration by the Conservancy and Park District.

In partnership with the Park District in 1989, the Conservancy restored the "Standing Lincoln" monument including its granite exedra and plaza. Since the monument's placement in the park did not fit this historic piece of public art, we added a formal garden to draw people to the monument.

Years of love and Chicago winters have led to erosion of the formal path's bricks, which are in need of repair/replacement. A generous donor has pledged to match all donations up to $10,000 to help us complete the project this season. We are seeking at least five $2,000 donors to meet this match and restore one of Lincoln Park's most well-known monuments.

Every $2,500 donation supports one month of staff time related to our stewardship activities throughout Lincoln Park. Our staff help manage our various natural areas around North Pond, perform a variety of maintenance and restoration activities throughout the park, and manage thousands of volunteers whose work supports our mission to preserve, protect and enhance the park.

Each $5,000 donation supports a Lincoln Park Conservancy staff member for one month. As a nonprofit organization, our staff is small but mighty and each of us wears a variety of hats daily to further the Conservancy's mission to preserve, protect, and enhance Lincoln Park for all!

Each year, the Lincoln Park Conservancy buys supplies and materials to help the Conservatory offer its popular seasonal shows like the winter poinsettia show, replace outdated equipment, buy food for the turtles and koi ponds, and much, much more. With the Conservatory closed for most of 2020, our regular visitor donations weren't possible. Now that the Conservatory is reopened, between the lack of 2020 donations and a stretched city budget, the site needs the Conservancy's support more than ever! Our goal is a minimum of two $7,500 donations to cover existing programmatic expenses at the Conservatory.
