This Japanese knot bag is handmade from repurposed fabrics. The exterior is pieced from cotton, silk, and wool mask-making scraps, layered and sewn as raw-edge applique to a worn cotton/poly sheet, embroidered with sashiko stitching in the large wool areas. The lining is made from a (much less worn) second-hand cotton sheet. The bag contains six interior pockets.
