Legacy Letter Workshop
$150Preserve your stories, and the stories of your family with this intimate 2.5 hour workshop.
- What do you wish you knew about your parents and grandparents, and ancestors?
- What brought them to live where they did?
- What hardships did they encounter, and what did they learn from them?
- What wisdom might they have passed down to you if only they'd thought about it?
In this workshop, you'll begin to create a Legacy Letter - a collection of your stories, inspiration, and insight to preserve and share with your family/friends.
You'll be guided through the process of getting first thoughts on paper, and you'll learn that if you can tell a story, you can write one. You'll start collecting ideas, develop possible categories, and together we'll start to get some stories on the page (sharing what you write is optional).
At the end of the workshop you'll have the start of a wonderful document that you can share with those you love, and that you can add to over the years. And you'll also receive a PDF booklet of story starters and prompts, so you can keep going with the project long after the workshop.
Estimated Value: $450
The workshop is available for up to 5 people and will be held via Zoom conference at a mutually agreed upon time. To be used by November 5, 2022.
