Orange County-based restaurateur Russ Bendel Jr. is bringing a sister restaurant to his thriving wine country concepts, Vine and Ironwood, to the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa dining scene.

OLEA, named for a genus of trees that flourish in warm and tropical regions is a European twist on the Napa/Sonoma-inspired cuisine and spirits at Vine, the restaurant Bendel assumed ownership of six years ago.

Both Vine and Ironwood recently were named in Brad A. Johnson's "75 Best Places to Eat" in the Orange County Register. Ironwood also named one of the six restaurants in "Best of the New" in Orange Coast Magazine's April 2017 "Best Restaurants" issue and was honored as "Best New Restaurant" in 2016 by the Golden Foodies.

VINE is an all-encompassing Wine Country dining experience, a full bar, featuring craft cocktails, Open Kitchen, and a Semi-Private Dining table in our Wine Room. It offers South Orange County residents a fine dining night out with a complete food and wine experience.

VINE is a Wine Country Cuisine influenced by the Napa Valley and other wine producing regions. In addition, the wine selection includes more than 100 bottles - more than 25 of which are available by the glass.

Ironwood features a full bar, open kitchen, and an enclosed outdoor heated patio with views of the Saddleback Mountains. It offers South Orange County residents a fine dining night out with a complete food and wine experience.

Our coffee beans are 100% Arabica and roasted to order locally, hours prior to being shipped. The pantry's "Cave d'Affinage" features over 100 varieties of artisan cheese from around the world.
