Don Miller

Bartram's Mirror was made in 2014 for The Center for Art In Wood's exhibition Bartram's Boxes Remix. The piece, a collaboration with furniture conservator Christopher Storb, was included in an installation in the Bartram House, Bartram's Garden, Philadelphia.

Don Miller is a Philadelphia based woodworker, instrument maker and educator. He holds a BA in German from the University of Kansas and an MFA in 3D Design from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an Associate Professor in the Craft and Material Studies program at The University of the Arts and inhabits his own workshop in Germantown, PA. His work questions natural material, functional form and historical technology.
