We call them Leaders of Distinction because they truly have distinguished themselves in their fields, which include corporate, health and non-profit management, education, science & technology, government, entrepreneurship, racial justice, the arts, the media, philanthropy, and other professions. We find that these women are equally interested in giving back to their communities...our community.
YWCA's mission is eliminating racism and empowering women. The achievements of our honorees are a testament to the possibilities outlined in that mission.
