Friends and family, as we continue to be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, I am proud to be part of an organization that has been on the front lines from the very beginning. National CORE and Hope through Housing work in underserved communities providing high-quality affordable housing and a strong support system to help families and seniors thrive.
When the pandemic hit, our team came together to make sure that our residents remained safe. We created the COVID-19 Emergency Response and Resilience Fund to provide crucial support to homebound families and seniors. This included the distribution of food, household items, and other necessities; resource coordination and virtual well-being checks; healthcare navigation, medical support; and economic and employment assistance.
Starting Monday, November 2nd, we will be releasing a daily video, highlighting our mission, our heroes, and the amazing work we do in the communities we serve. I hope you will participate in our 10 Days of Delivering Hope Campaign, take the opportunity to learn a little bit about National CORE and Hope through Housing, and if you are moved to action, invite you to support the amazing children, families, and seniors we serve.
