Join Heidi Ho and our Auctioneer Liam Mayclem for a one-of-a-kind ALOHA cocktail class & dinner party at Mersea, located on Treasure Island. You'll bask in the enchanting views of the San Francisco skyline surrounding your "open-air classroom," while learning from bartender Liam how to mix, pour and shake the signature tropical-inspired cocktail of the evening.

Then, you'll relax and enjoy a delectable dinner. Your ALOHA feast will feature four courses of delicious Hawaiian Island cuisine, expertly designed and prepared by MERSEA's Co-Founder and Executive Chef Parke Ulrich, of Waterbar and EPIC Steak, and Co-Founder MeeSun Boice. on the Bowles family farm. Situated in the heart of San Joaquin Valley, near Los Banos, the Bowles family has owned and operated the farm for 150 years.

Your action- packed working farm "field-trip" includes:

• Learning how farmers use organic and conventional methods to produce herbs, melons, tomatoes, carrots, garlic, cotton, nuts, native plants, and more
• Observing the world's most advanced agricultural equipment and technology, learning more about how water is used to feed us and how wildlife and agriculture can coexist.
• Meeting the men and women who have been called to the hard ministry of feeding and clothing immense numbers of people they will never meet.
• Birdwatchers, bring your binoculars! Observe thousands of species of birds in their natural habitat as the farm is directly adjacent to the largest freshwater wetland in California.

Virtual Irish Whiskey Tasting Experience for 8

Sláinte! Treat your fun-loving friends to a virtual tasting of 4 Irish Pot Still Whiskeys. During this engaging session your party of 8 will learn from Irish native, Colin Crawford, about the general history of Irish Whiskey and the specific resurgence of Irish Port Still Whiskey, known for its unique distillation process of mixing malted and un-malted barley in a pot still.

Background and tasting notes and whiskey samples will be provided and delivered in advance of the tasting evening.

About Colin: Originally from Belfast, Ireland, Colin Crawford now lives in San Francisco. He has deep connections with Grace Cathedral, his wife serves as the Men and Boys Choir Music Administrator and their three sons are former choiristers. Since the COVID lock-down, Colin and a group of friends have been running a monthly virtual whiskey tasting group.

Christopher performs using Grace Cathedral's 7,466-pipe Aeolian-Skinner instrument, the Charles B. Alexander Memorial Organ (1934). It is one of the first and finest American classic style organs, and is among the largest church organs in the West. Experiencing music in our gothic cathedral with its unique acoustics, soaring nave and jewel-like stained glass windows is a feast for the ears, eyes and soul.

About Christopher:

Christopher Keady is the Assistant Director of Music at Grace Cathedral, serving as principal accompanist for the Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys. He was raised in Eugene, Oregon and earned a bachelor's degree from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where he studied organ with Dr. Lee Garrett. He subsequently served as Assistant Organist at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland; during that time he accompanied the cathedral choir in a UK residency at Bristol Cathedral and was course organist for the first Pacific Northwest RSCM Training Course. Keady received his Master's Degree in Organ Performance at the Institute of Sacred Music at Yale University, having studied with Martin Jean and served as Sacred Music Intern at the Brick Presbyterian Church in New York City. He and his husband Dan live in Oakland.
