Chef Parke Ulrich attributes his life-long interest in cooking and food to his German heritage, large family and mealtimes that were always social gatherings, inspirations that have brought him to the position of executive chef at one of San Francisco's most desirable dining destinations.
For those of you who have been fans of Beyond Differences' annual fundraising event, We Dine Together (traditional style, in-restaurant dining experience), you will remember that Waterbar and its twin next-door restaurant EPIC Steak, have been our most loyal and generous donors, always donating multiple tables for 6 guests or more, with wine pairings and extraordinary hospitality and service. This year, we are thrilled to welcome Chef Ulrich into our homes as he teaches us to prepare and experience a seafood extravaganza.
We are also excited to announce that his colleagues, Chef Erica Land and Chef Justin Baade, will also join us. Chef Land has gained national repute and momentum after recently appearing on the Food Network's "Beat Bobby Flay" where she prepared her famous Sticky Toffee Pudding! She is a celebrated pastry chef and a vibrant personality.
We are so grateful to have the participation of Waterbar, San Francisco's most popular waterfront restaurant on the Embarcadero. Our gratitude is also extended to Pete Sittnick, the honorary chair and champion of We Dine Together Home Edition!
