Your gift of $10,000 provides emergency financial assistance for up to eight families. Childhood cancer can be financially devastating during normal circumstances. The economic effects of the pandemic have added another layer of financial hardship. CURE helps families by paying rent, utility bills, medical bills, transportation expenses and more.
Your gift of $25,000 funds gene sequencing for five children. Through CURE's Precision Medicine Program, genetic tumor sequencing is available for children with high risk cancers or whose cancer relapses. With this sequencing, doctors hope to identify the genetic changes that are driving tumor growth and impacting treatment response. Understanding and targeting the genetic changes is key to improving outcomes for children with cancer.
