Pet Friendly Apartments - Pets are a source of comfort for victims of domestic violence. Victims coming to Lydia's House now do not have to make the difficult decision of leaving a cherished pet behind when escaping from domestic violence. Lydia's House is proud to be one of only 10 % of domestic violence housing units in the United States that allow pets to live in safety with their family as they heal together from the violence. Your support at the $50 level will help provide essential needs of a pet living at Lydia's House as they continue to comfort their family.
Lydia's House Healthcare Clinic - Lydia's House in house medical clinic began providing well women's care, sick care, infant and childcare, routine lab work visits, prevention education and vaccinations in 2017. Residents avoid long waits at the emergency room with a sick child and are able to avoid the trauma of revisiting the ER the night injuries occurred from their abusers. Services continue to be provided by Lydia's House at no cost in turn providing financial relief when medical needs occur. Your support at the $100 level will help to provide two family visits to our healthcare clinic.

Essential Transitional Housing Needs - Many victims leave at a moment's notice with only their children in their arms leaving everything they own behind in the wake of the violence. Lydia's House provides fully furnished and stocked apartments with essential needs by providing items such as nutritious food, cookware, laundry supplies, baby formula, diapers, personal hygiene items, extra clothing, pajamas, socks, underwear and children's toys. Your support at the $250 level will provide the needs of one fully furnished and essentially stocked apartment when domestic violence victims and their children arrive at Lydia's House.

Lydia's Ladle Job Employment Program - Lack of employable job skills, absence of job references and a gap in employment on their resume due to fleeing the violence creates additional barriers. At Lydia's Ladle, victims gain practical work experience, make contacts for future job references and learn skills to work in the food industry under USDA guidelines. Becoming employed at the Ladle creates an immediate source of income for survivors. Your support at the $500 level allows domestic violence survivors to begin to attain financial independence and resources to help move into full-time career job by providing USDA education, certification and income while at Lydia's House.
Children's Programming - 10 million children witness domestic violence every year. At Lydia's House we provide a healing environment for our children's safety and well-being. A Child Advocate, Support Groups, After School Programming, Tutoring, school supplies, computer needs, internet, nutritious snacks, school uniforms, new shoes and fun summer programming are all available at no charge to our families. Your support at the $1000 level will help to provide the basic needs of our children. Your support at the $1,000 level will provide 2 children at Lydia's House the basic essentials to have a healthy and productive school year in 2021.
Transportation Needs - Survivors at Lydia's House need the ability to get to work, school and places of business after leaving their mode of transportation behind when fleeing the violence. Your help provides much needed financial relief to struggling survivors providing transportation options as survivors travel to their places of employment, worship and places to further their education. Your support at the $2,500 level assists with transportation costs that provide 3 months of bus passes for 10 women.
Lydia's House - Lydia's House has been addressing the need for Transitional Housing for domestic violence victims since 1995 at no cost to the victim. Since inception, 1142 victims have been served. Lydia's House has the capacity to serve up to 50 adults and up to 85 children every year. Lydia's House works in faith to end domestic violence by being a place of healing and a voice of hope for abused women and their children. The majority of survivor's at Lydia's House are suffering financially and fall at or below 20% AMI, which makes an already grim domestic violence situation far worse. Lydia's House's programs serve as a vital bridge between emergency shelters and permanent housing enabling domestic violence victims to become independent with our support and move into permanent housing independent of their abuser. Your support at the $10,000 level will help "VICTIMS" of domestic violence become "SURVIVORS" at Lydia's House.
