COVID-19 forced us to cancel the 2020 Gala, our only fundraising event of the year, but IR research continues and we proudly introduce the Virtual Balloon Auction to propel innovation, advance the value and quality of IR through evidence-based practice and data collection, and provide critical visibility to the specialty, the work of SIR Foundation. Your gift makes interventional radiology research possible-elevating IR and enhancing patient care everywhere.

Pioneer Circle: $1,000, $2,500, $5,000 or $10,000 balloon donors become members of the SIR Foundation Pioneer Circle. We have recently enhanced our Pioneer Circle recognition and benefits so we can appropriately acknowledge your generosity and recognize the important role that you play in bringing IR research to fruition. A new COVID-19 grant: Discovering multi-disciplinary, minimally-invasive and loco-regional therapies for treating critically-ill patients
Clinical trials and registries: Supporting evidence-based IR care through the Global Interventional Oncology - Clinical Outcomes Registry (IO-CORE) and Chronic Venous Thrombosis: Relief with Adjunctive Catheter-Directed Therapy (C-TRACT) Trial
Multi-disciplinary research consensus panels and summits: Tackling high-priority topics in IR including lymphatic imaging and interventions, obesity therapeutics and optimal medical therapy following venous recanalization
Educational programs that introduce medical students to IR research: Transforming the GEMS Program into an in-depth virtual learning experience with an emphasis on health equity and diversity due to the cancellation of most clerkship rotations
