Back to School for S.E.L.F.

Special Education Legal Fund levels the playing field for families in need with children in special education.
Since 2018, S.E.L.F. has provided more than $275,000 in support to Connecticut & Westchester families in need with children in the special education system.

While all students have been negatively impacted by the school closures, the effects have been broader, deeper, and less easily rectified for students in the special education system.

For S.E.L.F., the COVID-19 pandemic has drastically increased the demand for our services, while forcing the cancellation of our only fundraising event of the year. In order to continue to serve families in need with children in special education, we need your help.
