ASAA Cowboy Tailgate, Saturday, September 25, 2021

Join the ASAA for a Cowboy Tailgate prior to the OSU vs. K-State Game on Saturday, September, 25. Tailgate will be located at the P&K Equipment Tent at the Northwest Corner of Boone Pickens Stadium, South of the Wes Watkins Center. Come by starting at 3 p.m. and help us cheer on the Cowboys, mingle with ASAA members and the Board of Directors, pick up some ASAA swag, or sign up for a lifetime membership. All, Animal and Food Sciences alumni and friends are welcome!

Join the ASAA for the 2021 Animal Science Weekend & Gala Reunion

The Animal Science Alumni Association is a non-profit organization focused on promoting the profession of animal science. This is accomplished by providing scholarship and judging team support, encouraging student enrollment in animal science, improving awareness of educations opportunities and organizing events and activities for alumni.

We hope you can join us in Stillwater April 10-11, 2021. Come see old and new alumni and friends as we highlight the 50-Year Livestock and Meat Judging Teams (1970 & 1971), 1971, 1996 and 2011 animal science graduates, along with our 2020-2021 Hall of Fame Chairback Recipient Eddie Sims. The evening will be filled with fellowship, an update of the OSU Department of Animal and Food Sciences and recognizing current students and judging teams.

If you are unable to attend we hope you will still participate in the Scholarship Auction. Make sure to register today! Your impact makes a difference by contributing scholarship dollars to support our animal and food sciences students and future industry leaders. The ASAA will hold its annual membership meeting on Saturday prior to the Gala Reunion at the Payne County Expo Center. Members will enjoy an update from the ASAA and Dr. Clint Rusk, Animal and Food Sciences Department Head and a vote of bylaw changes will occur. Membership Meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. attendance is free with a Gala Reunion ticket purchase. 

Doors will open for the 2021 Gala Reunion at 5:00 p.m. Photos of the 50-Year Teams will take place at 5:30 p.m.

If you are not a Lifetime Member we encourage you to join. Members will receive an ASAA quarterzip, window decal and copy of the Alumni Update. The ASAA has nearly 700 Lifetime Members and welcomes you to be a part of this elite group of alumni! Memberships may be purchased with registration.

COVID-19 HEALTH ACKNOWLEDGMENT & LIABILITY WAIVER

Participants will be required to acknowledge reading this form with registration. 

I, am aware of the potential spread of COVID-19 that could result in severe illness and potential death.  My presence at the 2021 OSU Animal Science Gala Reunion held in Stillwater, Oklahoma ("Event"), proves I voluntarily accept this risk by attending the Event and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself and on behalf of my family, spouse, estate, heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, and personal representatives, including, but not limited to, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense of any kind, that may be experienced or incurred in connection with my attendance at the Event.

I understand that the risk of being exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the Event may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself, and others, including, but not limited to, OSU Animal Science Alumni Association., and/or its employees, officers, directors, representatives, agents, event staff, volunteers, Event participants/attendees and their families.  I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge and hold harmless OSU Animal Science Alumni Association, and/or its directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any claim associated with allegedly being exposed to or infected by COVID-19 as a result of participating in Event activities and/or being on Event grounds.

HEALTH PROTOCOLS:

I will, to the best of my ability, practice proper social-distancing as recommended by health department directives, as well as practice good hygiene (hand washing, use of hand sanitizer, wearing of a mask if and when required, etc.) and follow other health directives ordered or suggested.

HEALTH REPORTING:

I have not experienced new or worsening symptoms of possible COVID-19 in the last 14 days, including cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, diarrhea, feeling feverish or a temperature greater than 100°F.

I have not had close contact with a person symptomatic or confirmed to have COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

I have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days.  If I have been infected by COVID-19 at any time, I have been medically released to return to normal activities.

If I develop a fever and symptoms, such as a cough or difficulty breathing while at the Event, or if I am diagnosed with COVID-19 while at the Event, I will self-quarantine and immediately report this information to OSU Animal Science Alumni Association management.

I fully understand and agree to the above terms.
