SUPPORT FOSTER FAMILIES WITH #GIVINGTUESDAYNOW

Bethanna, meaning "House of Grace," is a nonprofit organization providing the highest quality system of care for children and families in order to ensure safety, restore emotional wellness, and build family stability. We provide child welfare and behavioral health care in Philadelphia, as well as Southeastern, and Central Pennsylvania, and are proud to strengthen families and promote resilience and hope in times of need.

We are launching a "day of giving" today, in partnership with the national #GivingTuesdayNow campaign which has been organized to assist non-profits who are in need of financial support NOW. You can support our efforts by making a donation today. Our dedicated staff continue to provide services to children and families even during this chaotic time; their work is critical and deemed essential despite the risks and unprecedented challenges.

May is also National Foster Care Month. Throughout the month, we honor and celebrate our 200 foster and kinship care parents, children, and the staff who dedicate themselves to nurture and care for children and families with the goal of reunifying families and ensuring children have permanent homes. As you can imagine, the global pandemic we are experiencing is causing uncharted challenges for all families. Now more than ever foster and kin caregivers are heroic champions for children and families.

The funds raised for #GivingTuesdayNow will support the essential work of our foster care program and show appreciation to Bethanna's foster and kinship care parent frontline heroes! Our goal is to provide all 200 foster and kinship care families with a prepared meal in May purchased from local restaurants to honor and thank them for their dedicated service. These families are located in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Lancaster, and Delaware Counties.
