Enjoy 2 hours of virutal music lessons with PYD's own Pre-ETS Career Readiness Program Specialist Mehdi Raoufi. Mehdi is a well accomplished musician and teacher and will customize the lessons to your musical interests and timeframes that work with your schedule.
Mehdi has been playing music for over 20 years and has over a decade of teaching experience. From teaching guitar and piano privately under his own business, performing arts centers, and community centers in the Washington, D.C. area to holding positions within the music department in D.C. area independent schools, Mehdi has a variety of experience teaching students of all ages and abilities. Creatively and professionally, Mehdi has worked as a Sound Designer in Washington, D.C. theatre, where his compositions have been heard from the local theatre level to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts while also acting as an Artistic Director for a DC Metropolitan Area-based inclusive Theatre company. Currently, Mehdi lives in Boston and works as a Program Specialist in the Career Readiness Program at Partners for Youth with Disabilities and also holds a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University. Mehdi believes wholeheartedly that everyone is creative in unique ways and can find success through their creativity.
