Vito Trause- Celebrate those who gave it all for our freedom - WE WILL KEEP SELLING ALL YEAR TO FUND THE VITO TRAUSE SCHOLARSHIP

Dear friends 

I hope you are all well during these unprecedented times. 

All of you who knew Vito Trause know he was always full of stories, sayings and most of all, passion for our country and those who served it. 

I will tell you, his passion for Memorial Day was unparalleled. He said often, Memorial Day is the most sacred day because it honors "Guys that gave their life for the freedom we have today". His wish, year after year, was that more people would come out on Memorial Day to pay their respects to those who gave their life for us. 

We have an opportunity to celebrate our pal Vito and all of those who served by participating in the town's Memorial Day decoration event. We are selling lawn signs through the Knights of Columbus. The proceeds from the sales will go to the Vito Trause Scholarship Fund. There are two signs available. One depicts Vito in his army sweatshirt in front of the American flag. The other is a picture of American flags waving in the sky. Both encourage us to remember our heroes. The signs are $20 each or $30 for the pair. 

Please decorate for Memorial Day and please consider buying our lawn signs. 

But most importantly, please take the time to remember those who gave their lives while serving our country.

Let's rise up, together as a community, and in this time of unprecedented health crisis, do something to showcase the importance of Memorial Day. Whether we put out a flag, a banner or our lawn sign, let's all do something.
