Your contribution covers the cost of providing Family Advocacy, case management and counseling to a South Central LAMP Family for a year.
South Central LAMP's Family Advocacy program is designed to help parents develop personal and family goals, identify and address obstacles, and provides support, information, and referrals to vital community resources, such as education and special education programs, community immigration and legal centers, food pantries, physical and mental health resources, and other information and service and faith-based programs. Our on-site Family Advocate offers highly individualized and integrated support through home and in-office visits in order to establish a trusting positive relationship and to identify and coordinate referral needs.
Your contribution helps covers the cost of providing Parenting Education and ESL Classes for a South Central LAMP Mom for the 2020-2021 school year.
South Central LAMP provides a supportive, nurturing environment for economically poor women and their families. We do this by offering programs that empower women and their families reach their full potential, build self-esteem, utilize resources and strengthen mutual interdependent relations.
Contribution to St. Francis Center for food distribution to South Central LAMP families.
South Central LAMP partners with St. Francis Center to provide a satellite community food pantry service. Donations such as fresh produce, baked goods, canned goods, and other items are brought to South Central LAMP to distribute to the community.
It is our mission of supporting our local community and providing assistance to low income and underprivileged families with food as well as educational programs. Every year we provide food relief for over 230 people in the community.
Your contribution helps cover the cost of providing free childcare for infants ages (ages 1 month to 36 months).
The ECE Program is based on the Creative Curriculum for Preschool model that focuses on understanding children's development, meeting their individual needs, providing a supportive environment, facilitating developmentally appropriate experiences and partnering with families.
We strongly believe in supporting parents as their child's first teacher. We actively involve them in different learning areas that support the child's development in concert with the activity in the classroom.
