Great line breeding opportunity of the carcass King, Itozuru Doi TF151.
We have paired a heifer we really like from our Mochiko cow with MFC Itosuru Doi 8-2. The TF151/CF500 family has a great reputation in all facets important to Wagyu breeders. In fact when bred with the 729T line from Ohio Wagyu, the results were just spectacular. Just look at the pictures of a similarly bred animal to the dam in this pairing. We decided to match her with another great carcass producer which happens to be another TF151/CF500 bull. Our goal is simple, to increase the potential for even more consistency when it comes to growth & amazing carcass quality.
FB9777 CHR MS Itozuru Doi 364 was unfortunately miss-named at registration. He is though a bull, and a stud beef producer at that! His females also produce great growing calves, similar to his sire TF 151 Itozuru Doi. David Morgan at Blue Herron Farms told me 364 had the fastest growing calves and was the best marbling bull he had used for his wagyu/cross herd. David loved his 364 females and eventually had to swap out bulls for a breeding season. I saw 364 at the Blue Herron dispersal and I am still kicking myself for not buying him. He had literally just come off winter breeding and looked great at just under 1,600 lbs. That would have put him about 1,800 - 1,900 on a regular day. I was fortunate to get a few straws from the limited amount collected and am using it wisely.
The dam FB45547 ABE MS Itozuru Doi 17F is carrier free & comes from a great maternal line. 17F is going to be a large framed wagyu cow when she reachs full maturity, like her dam Mochiko, & grand dam 51N. 51N is still active and bred back at 17 years of age, her dam 51J was also active into her late teens. Longevity and continuous calf producers are wonderful traits for any herd.
5 Grade 1 conventionally flushed embryos. Will guarantee 2 pregnancy if implanted by a certified embryologist. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Located at Southside Large Animal Clinic, Gretna, VA. Calves will be Carrier Free by pedigrees.
