We need to raise $100,000 for our Nights of Support Program at this year's gala in order to prevent wait lists for our peer support programming.
Last year the demand for our Nights of Support program grew our enrollment by 25%. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is only going to increase the need for this program. We must do everything we can to meet the demand of this moment. In order to do that, we need the financial resources that will allow us to enroll the many new families who will want to join Good Grief when normalcy returns.
Without your generous support, we will not be able to meet future demands for growth. Help us prevent the inevitable waitlists that will occur if we don't have funding to grow immediately and with a sense of urgency.
Please make a gift to Nights of Support and help us ensure no child has to grieve alone.
90% of children will face adversity before graduating high school, so we designed a social-emotional learning program called Good Grief Schools to empower students to confront and overcome loss, while giving educators the tools they need to guide children and teens through grief.
With over 100 school partners in New Jersey, and 100% of the student population now facing adversity because of COVID-19, we are working with our partners to ensure that students thrive when this pandemic is behind us.
We need to raise $50,000 to support our 100 school partners, train educators, empower parents, and double the number of schools enrolled in this program.
Please make a generous gift to our Good Grief Schools program and help us support thousands of school children in our communities.
This past summer every parent developed a great appreciation for the power and importance of summer camps. Not only do they make summers memorable and adventuresome, they foster new friendships and emotional growth.
While we were able to run our summer camp this year virtually, kids need to be with other kids. Our weeklong Grief Expressions Summer Camp is an immersive experience with other grieving kids.
We need to fully fund Grief Expressions Summer Camp for 2021 and immediately begin enrolling the 100+ grieving children who find joy, fun, and new skills by spending a week at camp with us.
We need $25,000 to run Grief Expressions Summer Camp, ensure a waitlist is prevented, and make camper magic happen!
The need for accessible mental health care has risen as a priority during this pandemic. Children and families in urban cities often struggle to access much needed social and emotional services.
Since 2017, we have provided Good Grief programs in Newark and Jersey City to families who were unable to access our Morristown and Princeton centers. Our satellite programming brings Good Grief's nationally respected programs to those children and families most at risk of grieving alone.
We must raise $25,000 to support more than 50 children and families in the communities where they live, learn, and play. No child should have to grieve alone because of their zip code.
