Joe Palmieri, Chief Procurement Officer of CommScope Inc., has held global leadership roles within the supply chain including procurement, operations & manufacturing. He is well versed in complex manufacturing and R&D environments including cable, automotive, electronics and packaging industries having worked at iconic global brands including General Instruments, Motorola, Google & ARRIS before joining the Senior Leadership team at CommScope.

Joe leads teams with concentrated production in APAC, Mexico and Europe and is known for his long-standing relationships and negotiating skills amongst the largest global contract manufacturers. He successfully navigates the changing geo-political landscape and the impact of tariffs on the supply base, driving improved margins and decreased reliance on sole-source suppliers.

Joe's strengths include communication, collaboration and his ability to work in complex organizations with changing global dynamics. His work during ARRIS' acquisition of Motorola-Home was selected as a top 100 Synergy programme by Supply and Demand Executive 100.

Active in his community, Joe is a member of the Corporate Executive Board and Committee Member of the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology. As a strong advocate for balanced leadership teams, Joe is known for supporting women in leadership and nurturing the careers of young women entering the profession. He is a sponsor and member of American Women's Business Network (AWBN). Joe's philosophy as a community member and leader is that teams, made up of motivated professionals, can accomplish more than any single individual.

Joe lives in Philadelphia and is the father of two children, Maria (22) and JD (19). He holds a Bachelor's in Engineering and Operations Management from Drexel University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, graduating with Distinguished Honors.
