A full-day Hand Gun 1 class with a Navy Seal

Handgun 1 is an introduction to firearms nomenclature, operation, and live fire drills. The pace of the classroom is such that a new learner feels safe and develops confidence. Safety is paramount! Basic firearms safety, gun handling, and techniques to make any loaded weapon safe will be covered.
You can expect to learn:

• Unloading/Reloading
• Drawing from a holster
• Recoil management
• Malfunctions

TACTIC was founded in 2009 by Chris Forrest and is based on his extensive background as a Navy SEAL. TACTIC provides tested, military techniques to civilians so they can protect their families and avoid victimization. TACTIC training is about learning a new mindset that comes from being prepared, seeing options, and understanding human worth for the purpose of protecting yourself and others. TACTIC seeks to empower people in places they feel stuck, whether that goal is to become a better marksmen, overcome trauma, or develop new skills. As a teacher and coach, Chris instills confidence.
