Your donation will send 10 kids to in-person camp or 20 kids to a virtual program! Virtual programs allow a child that may have relapsed, is in the hospital, or that may have treatment or risk factors too great, to still be able to participate in programs and stay connected with their camp family. Therefore, we are thrilled to share that virtual programming will be part of our DNA moving forward. Once we can safely return to in-person programs, we will also offer simultaneous (or a virtual component) experience as part of our camp programs, which promotes inclusion for all.
"Phoebe has loved being included in this community, meeting lots of new people. I saw her in a different light this week watching her engage with kids she had never met, yet felt a connection to because they, too, had experience with cancer."
