She said, "my family relies on the food pantry at the end of each month when we are running low on food. It is very helpful to have a food pantry so close".

His mom said, "Isaac loves coming to community programs where he is able to play with other kids. I love that he is able to have fun playing outside somewhere I feel he is safe."
She said, "my favorite programs are the educational ones. I love learning about new things and love getting to meet new neighbors. It helps us form a community with people we otherwise might not get to meet".
She said, "Resident Services has pulled together an amazing pool of resources for us to access and because of that I never feel alone in getting connected to the things I need to better my home for myself and my family. The youth programs have provided a positive outlet and encourage productive behavior. There is always plenty of food and care items available that can help us make ends meet when things get tight. There has also been a wide variety of education shared. Thank you so much; I'm so happy for all you do! I know I always have someone to talk to that will listen and care".
She said, "my kids really enjoy the garden because it gives us a chance to live in a town home, but still be able to do what people in houses are able to do. We like to grow zucchini, bell peppers, squash, and tomatoes".
He said, "taking part in the different activities is fun and gives me something fun to do. I always looks forward to Bingo and to the other events that are held here where I can visit with the other people who live here".
She said, "I enjoy being able to visit with Resident Services and that they are able to assist if we have issues with other residents. I also enjoy the community events, such as Bingo, where I get to see residents I wouldn't see otherwise".
She said, "I love taking part in the cooking programs, where I learn a lot and get to spend time with friends and neighbors. I love coming to any program where I get to see other people".
She said, "I am so thankful for Mercy Housing. It has been a great place for me during a difficult transition. Stacie was and continues to be such a help to me. She always responds to all my questions and issues with promptness and kindness. I am very appreciative to have a place for my son and I as we get on our feet. Thank you".
Mal likes coming to Homework Club to learn new things and play sports. He also likes snacks...a lot! And drawing!
These two girls always come to Homework Club and family programming classes. Chudier is a social butterfly who likes to sing. Jackie likes to read books about animals.
Cristina is a resident Feel Better Ambassador who taught an eight week fitness class to residents this past winter.
She said, "once I started coming to Resident Services Programs, it gave me the motivation to get active. I love to cook. Cooking during Resident Services Programs gave me the opportunity to do what I love again. Resident Services Programs gave me the opportunity to connect with other residents and to help motivate them. It helped me to build a healthy lifestyle by exercising, creating activities and gave me back my life, my pride, and my social skills".
They said, "We love Homework Club because we get to see our friends and be with our family at the same time. We get to do fun things!"
Eva is 92 years old! She says "I like having Resident Services because it provides stability. Having events has made me feel more at home and allowed me to develop a sense of family with my community. It gives me something to look forward to and to get excited about. With everything going on during these troubled times I know that I'm not alone. My favorite event is that every year we have a big Thanksgiving Dinner. I have lost family members and this gives me a new "family" to celebrate with".
These three brothers enjoy participating in Out-of-School Time programming. They especially like Thursdays because it's game day and they all like to play kickball together.
