Good mix of 1996's to celebrate the end of SIP
This mix of California and French wine is perfect to celebrate a holiday or the end of our shelter in place!
One of the top 1996s, Suduiraut has produced an uncommonly rich, deep, powerful wine for this vintage. The wine is concentrated, rich, and powerful. An aroma of honey and candied fruit. Beautiful balance. Lovely, mouth-filling wine.
The Château Croizet-Bages Pauillac dark ruby color is followed by sweet, elegant notes of black currants, cherries, spicy oak, and cedar. The wine is medium-bodied, with sweet tannin, and a moderately long finish.

Pinot the feminine way
Merry Edwards blazed the trail for women winemakers in Napa Valley when she began her career in the early 1970s and founded her own eponymous vineyard in 1997. Today, Merry Edwards is one of the most recognized names in California winemaking.
This lot of four 2012 Merry Edwards magnums is all about terroir. Each bottle is from the same harvest year, but composed of Pinot grapes sourcing from different vineyards. This allows you to experience how subtle differences in soil from vineyard to vineyard can affect the essence of a wine even in the hands of a single winemaker.

Tobacco, cedar, earth, and red and black fruits are prominent in both the aromas and the flavor

2009 A. Rafanelli Cabernet Sauvignon
Since the early 1900's the Rafanelli family has been growing grapes and making wine in the Dry Creek Valley. Four generations later they are still keeping with the tradition, growing premium grapes and producing world class wines. The winery is small, and being family owned and operated, production is limited, with the focus on quality not quantity! The family prides themselves on producing consistently exceptional wines year in and year out, specializing in some of the finest Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
These two sweet wines will allow you to discover new flavors to enjoy with dessert or with foie gras. You will find these to be better than a port, as they are higher in sugar and all natural.
