After our youngest was diagnosed with stage IV cancer, we decided to get family pictures. During the photo shoot, the kids were being so sweet with their little brother. This will always be one of my favorite pictures of them.

When you cross the finish line after a 300 mile bike event for charity and your daughter has this sign (cheering and crying!) waiting for you as you cross the finish line! A magic moment in our story!

Our first child, Luke, was prenatally diagnosed with a severe congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. It was a very scary time for my husband and me, but we were still overjoyed at the chance to finally be parents. A few minutes after being born, Luke stopped breathing and had to be quickly taken away to be emergently intubated. We were unable to hold him until the night before his first open-heart surgery when he was two days old. This photo captured the first moments I was able to finally hold my little boy.

Luke is now five years old and doing great. He has had a total of three open-heart surgeries and several other surgeries. He is happy and mischievous, and we are so blessed to have him in our lives.

I had many memories in the Air Force with these four guys. Although we have all went our separate ways, I look back at some photos and cherish the moments I had. This particular photo was taken while my buddy Matt was in the hospital before his first chemotherapy treatments in 2014 to fight leukemia. He is still fighting this cancer fight and all along has been deployed, has been on the Rock's show The Titan Games, and now is engaged. I'm so glad he has been able to make all these amazing memories, which is what this fundraising is all about. Making memories for these kids and family members to have for an entire lifetime. You don't have to vote for my picture (although I'd love to win the contest), please take the time to donate the 5 dollars and vote for any pic.

The day we were able to go home after stem cell transplant. Elias was told there were no capable matches for him, after a year of bone narrows drives and testing a partial cord blood match was available. The journey of finding a match allowed for dozens of other matches to be found for patients in need. All from people inspired to sign up to save Elias.
