Drink Like a Sommelier

ONLY 10 TICKETS AVAILABLE! Buy a seat for an exclusive wine tasting led by sommelier and MCT playwright, Gaetano Marangelli. The 90-minute class will feature samplings of four different wines and will guide you through the techniques of tasting, evaluating, and appreciating wine. For an even more special evening, the tasting will take place in a rehearsal hall of the Broadway Theatre Center for a unique behind-the-scenes experience. Besides being the playwright of Iron County, which will be featured in the 2020-21 Montgomery Davis Play Development Series, Gaetano holds a sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. He has been a wine importer and distributor and a wine director and buyer for restaurants and retailers in New York and Chicago. Experience wine as you never have before! Currently scheduled for the evening of Friday, December 11, 2020 (subject to change based on potential COVID-19 regulations).

Experience the ultimate behind-the-scenes experience as we bring INDECENT alive from the page to the stage. You and a guest will be a part of the process from the very beginning, joining us at the first rehearsal for the production, where the cast, directors, and creative team come together for design presentations and the first reading of the script. Then, join us once per week during rehearsals (as your schedule allows) to watch the show take shape in the rehearsal hall. Then, join us during tech week to witness all the final details come together, which culminates in the designer run where you will get to see the full production before the public! You'll also receive two tickets to opening night (April 3, 2021), a script signed by the cast, and the opportunity to have dinner with director Brent Hazelton and members of the cast on a date to be mutually agreed upon.

Guided by the host's specifications for the evening, your personal sommelier and MCT playwright, Gaetano Marangelli, will shop for, match, serve, and describe for guests, course by course, every wine for every dish on the host's dinner menu, beginning with aperitifs and ending with cordials.
