STORY OF MOKA

Optical illusion art is the kind of art that looks impossible, but is actually possible. As our students experience a new reality of living through a global pandemic, the work that they are doing every single day proves that what we once thought was impossible, is indeed possible.

The importance of embracing creativity and expressing themselves through the visual arts is even more important now. Our KIPPsters have been working on their art projects this year, and despite the need for social distancing, we are so pleased and proud to bring MOKA 2020 to you digitally. All proceeds benefit whole child education at KIPP SoCal Public Schools.

MR. HAHN'S CRAFT CORNER

Andy Hahn is the Founding Art Teacher at KIPP LA Prep, and the Founder of MOKA. His "Mr. Hahn's Craft Corner" is a beloved tradition at MOKA, and kids of all ages can enjoy this home craft project anytime.
