Bourbon & Bowties: May 14, 2020 | 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Bourbon & Bowties is your destination for fine cocktails, food and fun - and it's all for a great cause. The QG Community Charities' annual fundraiser, a.k.a., the area's premier charity event of the year, is celebrating 10 years, and will be held on the waterfront on the grounds of Rye Street Tavern, adjacent to the Sagamore Spirit Distillery.

Don't miss out! Mark your calendar for May 14, 2020 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Guests will indulge in top-rated bourbon, beer and wine, in addition to world-class cigars, and delectable food from the area's best dining establishments. Live and silent auctions round out the evening, which will be hosted by WBAL-TV 11 personalities, Mindy Basara, Jason Newton, and Pete Gilbert.

Over the last several years, Bourbon & Bowties has raised more than $250,000 for organizations including The Oyster Recovery Partnership, the Semper Fi Fund, and the Cool Kids Campaign.

Attire
We ask our male guests to wear bowties during the day and at the event to raise awareness for the charities we're supporting. General attire for all guests is "Preakness Spring."

Ladies should be aware that the event will take place on grass, so there may be some additional considerations for footwear.

 

Parking
There is currently a lot of contstruction going on in Port Covington, and the parking location is still TBD.  Valet parking will be available.

If you do not feel comfortable driving after the event, we encourage you to contact Uber or Lyft.

 

Silent Auction
The Silent Auction will open at 6 pm and close at 8:30 pm. The last (highest) valid bid entered prior to the section closing will be the winning bid. Checkout will begin at the conclusion of the Live Auction. All items must be paid for by the end of the evening.

 

Live Auction
Live Auction bidding will begin at 8 pm and will continue until all items are sold. A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item.

Food and beverage service will be suspended for the duration of the Live Auction.

Checkout will begin at the conclusion of the Live Auction. All items must be paid for by the end of the evening. For your convenience, we gladly accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards.
