Joey Hotter - 7A
In my research I learned about the huge quantity of Koalas that died during the fires. I wanted to draw a koala because I simply want to save them. Save the koalas!
Lilly Koblenski - 7A
My piece is based on the Australian bushfires that are happening right now. I wanted to encourage people to find way they can help solve this problem instead of just leaving it up to the Australians. If everyone does their part we can accomplish a lot more and hopefully solve this disaster. One thing I hope people will notice about my artwork is that the actual picture is in black and white while the words "You Can Help Too" are in color. Hopefully this inspires people to do what they can to help.
Elizabeth Abel - 7A
I love Australia because it has so many interesting animals, so I decided to draw some of them. Some of them are not as well known, so I wrote their names. I like to use pencils and colored pencils, so that is what I used for this project. I blended some of the colors to create the perfect color for the animals.
Erin Schauer - 7A
My artwork is about helping Australia with water to diminish the fires. The glitter represents if we help Australia it will again be beautiful.
Lauren Bartelme - 7B
Be the Change is about how hard the firefighters are working in Australia. We can all contribute and help the land and the animals in Australia.
Harper Roll - 7B
My piece is about how the firefighters are heroes for risking their lives for others.
Liam Bruni - 7B
Not all heroes need to have powers or have a cape. We have heroes right in front of us even though we might not realize it. My favorite part was probably not the drawing but the idea of integrating them.
Keira Cynkar - 7A
The idea for this project was that I wanted to create a happy and peaceful scene. My inspiration was that I wanted to take out the bad and only color good. I colored my drawing with colored pencils and I outlined them in sharpies before I colored them in.
Jonah Caldera and Luke Brown - 7B
In the picture it shows animals in their environments. The animals have half of one environment and half of another.
Eli Downing - 7B
Firefighters in Australia inspired me to draw this. Their selfless acts have shown me how important helping a friend can be.
