After many attempts and a variety of scenarios, it has been roadblock after roadblock. The casino company we had hired for our live event is unable to offer virtual blackjack to more than 7 individuals at a time. The experience was less than perfect; there was a lag in time between the dealer and participant bets and the platform connection was very unstable, all this was less than ideal. We considered offering smaller house party events (25-50 guests), but we have come to find out that the Legalized Games of Chance Commission will require permits for each and every location. Additionally, we would need to get approvals from each of the municipalities in which each party would take place. On top of all that we also understand and respect that there is still uncertain feelings about being in groups of people, therefore for all these reasons we have decided to not hold the event. While this has been a long and difficult decision we feel it is in everyone's best interest.
Please know we share your disappointment and look forward to when we can all safely gather and enjoy one another's company. In the meantime we have planned some other fun virtual activities.
