Help support African Penguin rehabilitation by purchasing an artificial nest that will meet all the requirements of a perfect penguin penthouse.
WHY DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE ARTIFICIAL NESTS? Before the advent of artificially produced fertilizer, guano was considered a top-quality fertilizer rich in nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. Guano was scraped from the penguin breeding islands. Penguins used to build their nests by burrowing into the thick layers of guano. This "forced removal" from well protected, temperature-controlled burrows to open surface nests, exposed the African Penguin to the harsh African heat and occasional flooding the "open-plan" living arrangement turned their eggs and chicks into an easy meal for predators like gulls & skuas. Providing artificial next boxes gives penguins a safe environment to live and reproduce.

Jeff Shaw played Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox of the American League (AL), and the Montreal Expos, Cincinnati Reds, and Los Angeles Dodgers of the National League (NL), during a 12-year career from 1990 to 2001. Shaw made his major league debut on April 30, 1990. He played three seasons at Cleveland before going to the Montreal Expos, where he stayed for three more years. After a one-season stint with the Chicago White Sox, Shaw moved to the Cincinnati Reds to be closer to his hometown and family.
Shaw was selected to the National League All-Star team twice, once in 1998 and again in 2001. He was selected to the 1998 All Star Game as a member of the Cincinnati Reds, but was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers at the beginning of the All Star break, thus his first game he pitched as a Dodger was in the 1998 All Star Game. Join 2006 Reds Hall of Famer Tom Browning for legendary tales of festivity, immortality, and a bit of eccentricity. What was his reaction to the lifetime suspension of his manager and friend, Pete Rose? How did a ragtag group of Cincinnati ballplayers topple the mighty Oakland A's in the 1990 Fall Classic? And, was that really Browning on a Sheffield Avenue rooftop - in uniform - during a 1993 Reds-Cubs game at Wrigley Field?

8x10 Autographed Color Photograph of Nick Price
Nick Price is a professional golfer from South Africa who joined the PGA TOUR in 1983 when he went wire-to-wire to defeat Jack Nicklaus by two strokes at the World Series of Golf for his first TOUR victory. From his breakthrough victory at the 1992 PGA Championship through the 1994 season, Nick Price dominated international golf. In 1993, Price won four PGA TOUR events, including THE PLAYERS Championship, and was named PGA TOUR Player of the Year. He won the Vardon Trophy (lowest scoring average) and the Arnold Palmer Award as the PGA Tour's leading money winner. Price then turned in one of golf's great seasons in 1994, winning six times, including the British Open and PGA Championship. He again led the money list and was named Player of the Year for the second year running. In August 1994 Price was ranked the world's No. 1 golfer, a position he held for 43 consecutive weeks, a stretch that since then, has only been bettered by Tiger Woods. No one won more PGA Tour tournaments, fifteen, in the 90's than Nick Price. Price is one of only three players in the 1990s to win two major titles in the same season, joining Nick Faldo in 1990 and Mark O'Meara in 1998. He is one of only seven players since 1945 to capture consecutive majors (Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson and Tiger Woods). Winning three major tournaments in two years was a feat not matched since Nicklaus did it in 1980, Palmer in 1962 and Hogan in 1953. Price has tallied 18 PGA TOUR victories and 24 International wins. He finished in the top 50 on the money list for 17 consecutive seasons and was ranked in the Top 50 in the world for 17 and a half years. Price was inducted into the World Golf Hall Of Fame in 2203 at a ceremony in St. Augustine and became its 99th member.

In 1971, his best season, he recorded 109 tackles, 35 assists, 10 quarterback sacks, and 3 safeties and became the first defensive player to win the Most Valuable Player award of the National Football League. Page was released by the Vikings in 1978. He played the final four years of his career with the Chicago Bears. The unofficial record shows that, in his 15 years of professional football, Page never missed a game, starting in 236 contests.
