Your donation of $1,000 will allow the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery to provide 40 children with new clothes and shoes; a bag of personal care items for the family (toothpaste; toothbrushes; soap; shampoo; etc.) and a food bag.

When the children see the clothes they get to take home--many with the tags still on!!--they get get so excited.

Your $500 donation to "Sponsor A Child" can make a life saving difference for a child.

When a child stays at the Crisis Nursery it is because the family is experiencing a crisis (homelessness; domestic violence; illness or overwhelming parental stress) and the parents are at the end of their rope. That is when child abuse and neglect can occur.

$500 will allow a child to stay at the Crisis Nursery for 48 hours. Enough time for the parents to seek mental health services; to address food or housing insecurity using resources recommended by Crisis Nursery Counselors; and to take time for self-care.
