Indian food is flavorful, nutritious and surprisingly simple to make. Learn the basics of Indian home cooking from Sequoyah parents, Umaa Rebbapragada and Vikas Anant. while also crafting a delicious meal. This class focuses on Punjabi cuisine which is the basis for many of the staples at a typical Indian restaurant. Learn the essential pantry of spices and ingredients and how to combine them together into savory dishes such as saag paneer, daal and chicken curry. Come feast, sample sweets, sip some authentic chai, and learn a bit about India's surprising culinary history. The class will be at their home in Pasadena. 6 adults at $50 each plus children. They'll have mango lassi and pizza for the kids. All food and drinks are on Umaa and Vikas.
