I started my professional career as a consultant and my career at Daimler as a project manager. Then I became CIO Korea for Daimler companies (passenger cars, trucks, financing, rent and insurance). In 2010, I moved to China and took over the responsibility for the IT team of Wholesale Sales, Aftersales, and Finance IT applications (passenger cars and trucks). Since then, I have been driving Organizational Development and Talent Management initiatives. In 2013, I became a Senior Manager of IT Retail Management in China. Since 2014, I have been responsible for the Wholesale and Retail IT department leading 100+ internal employees and CIO BMBS (Mercedes-Benz passenger cars in China). I supported the rapid business growth with the rollout for 100+ dealers per year during peak time and a stable operation for 600+ dealers. I launched eCommerce for MB passenger cars in 2016 and smart in 2017 by ramping up an internal development team and using an agile working model. I built the Ecommerce strategy, Digital strategy, and Data strategy closely working with business.
Now I am leading 150+ internal employees as CIO NAFTA Passenger Car Marketing and Sales in Atlanta, USA.
