About Glissando

Rainey Institute is where the arts change lives, and where youth in Cleveland are empowered to become positive, contributing citizens in our community.  Rainey helps young people develop character, self-esteem, and skills for life through educational activities in music, dance, theater, and visual arts.  Currently, Rainey serves over 2,500 youth every year through engaging after school programs, early childhood activities, virtual arts education, and our exciting Summer programs!

Rainey's annual benefit, Glissando, is an opportunity to raise support for these life-changing programs, and the children and families they serve.  This year, for the first time ever, Rainey will host Glissando virtually via Facebook LIVE!  Glissando 2020 will stream from Rainey's Facebook page (@raineyinstitute) on Thursday, October 15th @ 6 pm, and feature inspiring performances from our students, insights from our families, alumni, and partners, as well as an inside look into Rainey's innovative response and ongoing evolution in light of COVID-19.
