Can't Attend?
You can still participate in the auction! The Dobson
The Dobson began in 1980 as a way to remember Tim and Jennifer Dobson, who perished in a plane crash at a young age. The creator and founder, L. Brooks Patterson, (after five successful outings), created what is today known as The Rainbow Connection. Now in its 41st year, the Dobson raises money to help make wishes come true for Michigan children battling life-threatening medical conditions.
Join us for golf at the beautiful Cherry Creek Golf Club or become a sponsor to help raise money for our wish kids. Golf includes 18 holes on the magnificent course, a light breakfast, lunch on the turn, and cocktails with heavy hors d'oeuvres.
The event includes an auction with a wide variety of items we know you will find incredible! Bidding will continue through a lively cocktail hour. Feel the magic as you help grant wishes for our courageous wish kids.

Meet Lawson
Lawson adores animals and is looking forward to enjoying a Detroit Zoo membership this summer with his mom and dad! At home he loves to play with his two sweet puppies, Tommy and Leah! Lawson's wish is to meet Mickey Mouse and visit Toy Story Land in Disney World. His mom shares, "Lawson has missed out on many fun things a child should be doing at his age and instead was battling cancer. That is why the Wish of going to Disney World as a family is so perfect and exciting! It gives our family something to look forward to after the long hard battle we've had."
Donate Now
Our Wish Children need us now more than ever, and we need your support.
Our goal is to raise $150,000 to help us continue the important work of granting wishes to Michigan children battling life-threatening illnesses. Your help will allow us to keep our promise that, "no child in need of a wish will be turned away or made to wait."
Any amount will help make a direct impact on the life of a child.
