Royal JBS Amigas y Amigos - 

Due to the current set of circumstances, rules and trends in this portion of the Universe, we are forced to indefinitely postpone our Royal JBS Golf Invitational XIX.  

As you know, we like to put on a crazy-good time, but times are crazy enough for all of us right now.  The construction of our Plan B will begin when we have some idea of how far we are from that light that WILL be at the end of this tunnel.  

While we don't know exactly what/when our 2020 event will be, we promise that we will continue to be a conduit for enabling the granting of wishes to the Wish Kids of Arizona.  Toward that end, we will continue to encourage the donation of $$, as well as items for our auction/raffle. The list of kids waiting for wishes is getting longer right now, not shorter.  Please consider giving to whatever degree you are able.  Remember - It's Fa Da Kids. 

We hope everyone is being safe and sane.  Please take care of your loved ones and set a good example for them.  This, too, shall pass.  We'll talk to you in a few weeks.

Tournament and Hotel Information

Please join us for the 19th Annual Royal JBS Golf Invitational on Saturday April 25th at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club.
As always, all net proceeds will be donated to Make-A-Wish Arizona. This will be the most fun you have all year! It's Fa Da Kids!

 

Golf Information:

• Format - Individual Skins Game (gross and net)

• $250 tournament fee includes: Greens fee, cart, range balls, pre/post-golf and on-course food and beverage, entry into the skins game, and raffle tickets

• $200 upgrade to "VIP Golfer" for entrance to the exclusive "Royal Winnings" VIP area where you can select a premium raffle item of your choice!  Options have included: golf foursomes, dining and hotel certificates, high-end wine & liquor, family experiences, and more.

• Early Bird Registration is available until March 29th, use RJBS on the payment screen to get the Discount!

Who is Royal JBS?

Royal JBS is a non-profit, 100% Volunteer-based organization comprised of people who are dedicated to raising money to help MAW-AZ grant life-changing wishes for Arizona children with critical illnesses. 

We host unique, fun, innovative events and accrue donations via sponsorship, raffle, auction, and participant entry fees.  We strive to control costs to maximize our positive impact to the Wish Kids of Arizona, and consistently achieve world-class donation efficiency of >85%.

You'll typically find the Royal JBS Committee members enjoying the fruits of our labor as participants in our events.  We work hard and play hard for the Wish Kids of Arizona!  It's Fa Da Kids!

Our History

The Royal JBS Golf Invitational evolved from an informal golf gathering organized by Todd Altman and Mark Dellis in the late '90's.  Todd and Mark worked at Intel and joined the Intel Golf Association.  The IGA played monthly tournaments in the Phoenix area, and hosted a 2-day weekend tournament in Tucson each June.  Mark and Todd agreed that 2 days of golf and beer in the Arizona June sun was not enough, so they started playing on Friday and got a few others to join them.  Todd started helping the local Make-A-Wish Arizona office with their fall tournament, so in 2001 we got a few raffle items and the Royal JBS Invitational was born.  Our first year we had 8 players and raised $400.  Over the years we added more and more fun elements to our tournament and secured bigger and better items for our raffle and silent auction.  Tee signage and sponsorships followed and in 2019, we raised $126k for Make-A-Wish Arizona, which was the top external fundraising event in the state.
