The Finnegan family holds a special place in the hearts of IC family members. Their allegiance to Immaculate did not end with graduation and their dedication to each other is evident in all that they do. Words and phrases like "incredible generosity," "commitment to youth," "love one another," "family first," "values/faith," and, of course, "sense of humor/Irish Blarney" are synonymous with each of them!
With grateful affection for your sincere dedication to Immaculate, to your communities and to "all things family", we proudly present you with
"The 2020 Impact Award."

Sláinte to all the Finnegans!

-The Pride Gala Honorees:  Adriana Mazza '69, Trustee-

  unnamed

Adriana was born in Newark, NJ, the youngest of 3 children of Ralph and Mary Bonavolonta. The family had been longtime residents of Newark; Mary was born there and Ralph settled there after immigrating from Italy. Both of her parents were extremely focused on education, especially Catholic education.

Adriana entered 2nd grade at IC when the family relocated to Montclair.  She continued at the high school and graduated in 1969. She graduated from Seton Hall University in 1973 and earned an MBA in Human Resource Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She obtained a Paralegal Certification at NYU.

Adriana has held a variety of positions in the Human Resources field from Consultant through Vice President. She currently is a Sr. Level Manager at Ricoh Corporation Inc. in Parsippany. She has always been extremely active in her church, school and community activities and served as Chairperson for the Municipal Alliance Committee in her town for 8 years. She was nominated for the NJ Governor's Award for the work done with this committee.

Adriana has served on the Immaculate Conception Board of Trustees since 2012 and has been instrumental in securing grants for endeavors that have helped solidify the future of ICHS.  She has kept IC on the radar at Ricoh for significant donations of office equipment and much-needed furniture.  Shall we also mention the TRUCKLOADS of paper?

Adriana credits her love for volunteering and belief in giving back to the ideals instilled in her by her parents and wonderful teachers she had at Immaculate.

Adriana, your selfless commitment of time and talent to your church, your community and most certainly to your alma mater does not go unnoticed!  Your tenure on the Board has been marked by strong dedication and valuable advice.  Because we consider you an integral part of providing future Lions with the opportunity to attend the "little school on Cottage Place," we proudly bestow on you

"The 2020 Heart of a Lion Award!"
