2020 Annual Auction Event

It's the event everyone is talking about... the Foundation's Annual Auction Fundraiser!

Enjoy a casual grown-ups night out with both live and silent auctions, food, drinks, games, fun, and entertainment. This is the largest fundraiser supporting the teachers and students of the Waukee School District and you won't want to miss it!

Entertainment - Decoy

With roots stretching from all across the country, the next big band to hit the pop/rock scene has finally come together in Des Moines, Iowa! Decoy's limitless musical talent will take you on an amazing journey with spell-binding vocal melodies, solid groove rhythms and blues guitar leads cascading over top each instant classic song. Decoy creates its own unique sound from an eclectic mix of influences, building a live show that gets everyone in the audience dancing and singing along.

Master of Ceremonies - Adam Carroll

Adam Carroll is a two-time TED talk speaker with one talk approaching 5 MILLION views. He is the co-creator of the student loan debt documentary Broke, Busted & Disgusted (which aired on CNBC in 2018), and has been a guest lecturer on over 750 college campuses. Adam and his family have been in the Waukee community since 2010 and have another 6 years to go before relocating to somewhere warm. When asked what people should expect from the fundraiser, Adam said, "If you wanna raise money, it's gotta be funny."

Auctioneer - Jared Chambers

Since joining Peoples Company in 2014, Jared has made his mark as an award-winning professional auctioneer and as a licensed real estate agent in Iowa and Missouri. Whether serving as the lead auctioneer or as a professional ringman during auction day, he strives to make sure the auction process is executed in a professional manner. Jared is also an integral part of the online auction capabilities that Peoples Company can provide, either by online only auctions or a combination of live and online bidding.
