One Week at Villa Sassella Home in Tuscany, Italy

Villa Sassella is situated in the hamlet of Compignano approximately nine miles from Lucca in Tuscany, Italy.

The house is thought to date back to the 14th century and was restored in the 1970s, having been derelict since the 1940s. It has five bedrooms, one twin and four double and the Pool Suite has an adjoining room with two small single beds which are ideally suited for children. All the rooms have ensuite facilities.

There is a fully working kitchen, a large dining room, and several sitting rooms. A cook and daily cleaning/laundry service is available, but not included in the auction. This service can be arranged for you prior to your visit, or when you arrive. This service comes highly recommended at a very competitive rate.

Villa Sassella also features the following amenities - swimming pool, games room with satellite TV, tennis court, fooze ball table, small library, puzzles, games, and a stereo system. Use of local Italian internet service providers are available to enable easy internet access from your laptop. The house also has an unencrypted Wi-Fi connection.

Additionally, Italian lessons, a tennis coach, or a variety of personalized sightseeing/garden tours can be organized.

One Week Vacation in Spain

Situated in an elevated position, nestled into the hillside overlooking the typical Spanish village of Bedar, is Casa Fuentecica.

This fabulous villa accommodating up to six guests in three bedrooms. There is also an additional cassita (small house) which accommodates 2 people with a double bedroom and bathroom. The villa comes complete with pool, views of the Filabres mountains and Mojacar coastline, and garden. The property is within walking distance to the white hilltop village, which includes a handful of local bars and restaurants, plus a few shops, bakery and pharmacy.

More active nightlife is within an easy drive. The villa is less than 10 miles from coastal resorts of Mojacar Playa and Garrucha. The larger popular resort of Mojacar with its long sandy stretch of beach can be reached within a 20 minute drive, offering a vast array of restaurants, beach bars and shops, as well as the fishing port of Garrucha.

Furnished comfortably, all rooms are spacious throughout including the benefit of air-conditioning. Doors lead out from the mezzanine lounge out onto the terrace which provides an inviting setting for alfresco dining and an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful mountain and sea views down towards the coastline of Mojacar in the distance.

One Week Stay at the Glen Mhor Cottage in Glenelg, Scotland

Enjoy a week in the spectacular scenery of the Scottish Highlands. Glen Mhor Cottage is a warm and friendly family cottage in the highland village of Glenelg, a coastal village overlooking the Isle of Skye. This self catering cottage is in a wonderful location for many outdoor activities and is next door to the famous Glenelg Inn. The cottage is most suited for four adults or a family of four.

The cottage is a three bedroom property with a double room, twin room and single room. It also has one bathroom, a main reception room and a kitchen accommodating dining for four. For your entertainment purposes you will find a TV, DVD player, wireless broadband, games and books for a rainy day, and information booklets in the cottage on the local area. Please be sure to leave these for the next guest.

In the small utility room there is a freezer and washing machine/dryer. The kitchen contains a dishwasher, microwave, slow cooker, sandwich maker, and Rayburn cooker.

Local activities include climbing, walking, fishing expeditions, mountain biking, field sports, sailing, sand and shingle beaches, pony trekking, seal trips, kayaking, glass bottom boat trips and 9-hole golf courses at Lochcarron, Gairloch and on the Isle of Skye. Additionally, Castle Stuart is the main golf course in the area and is near the Inverness airport.

Vince Papale Biography:

Vincent Papale is a former professional American football player. He played three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League following two seasons with the Philadelphia Bell of the World Football League. Papale's story was the inspiration behind the 2006 film Invincible.

Janet Papale Biography:

At the age of 16, Janet earned a spot on the coveted USA World Gymnastics Team in 1970. She competed in the World Games in Yugoslavia and the Hapoel Games. A severe knee injury ended her gymnastics career but not her spirit. As a student at Penn State, Janet re-invented herself and became a diver and eventually broke all of Penn State's Women's diving records on the 1 and 3 meter board. She earned her BS Degree in Physical Education while at Penn State. And she taught and coached Gymnastics at State College High School.

Janet has traveled all over the world, instructing & coaching, and she developed amateur gymnastics programs for Malaysia, Bermuda, and South Africa, as well as all over the Unites States. Eventually she found at home at the University of Pennsylvania where she became their first Gymnastics Coach. While at Penn, Janet did post-graduate work at the Wharton School of Business. She held her coaching position at Penn from 1976 to 1988, eventually retiring to enter the wide world of Real Estate, just one of her many passions today.

Janet still is a major producer in Real Estate while still managing to find the time to manage several properties, co-author a book with Vince (go to Invincible Books tab), do charity work, fund raising, and direct Vince Papale Promotions . . . not to forget still finding time to be the mother of two children Gabriella & Vincent. Truly a remarkable woman, Janet has a zest for simply helping others be their best.
