Oakmont Golf Experience
$4,525Have you ever golfed on a top rated course? Now is your opportunity! One lucky threesome will have the chance to tee up with Robert Forte at Oakmont Country Club, rated the #5 country club in the country. In addition, the threesome will golf with Michael Lepore at LedgeRock Golf Club.
About Oakmont Country Club:
Few venues in the world of golf have the championship tradition of Oakmont. Introduced in 1903 by designer Henry Fownes, Oakmont Country Club has hosted more combined USGA and PGA championships than any other course in the U.S., including nine United States Opens, five U.S. Amateurs, three PGA Championships, and two U.S. Women's Opens.
Oakmont remains perhaps the most difficult course in North America, with 175 deep bunkers (personified by the Church Pews), hard and slick greens that slope away from the player, and tight fairways requiring the utmost precision. Oakmont was the site of "the greatest round of the 20th century": Johnny Miller's final round 63 at the 1973 U.S. Open. Golf Digest ranks Oakmont #5 in its most recent version of America's Top 100 courses.

About LedgeRock Golf Club:
LedgeRock Golf Club was conceived by its Founders at the turn of the 21st century to create the premier contemporary golf experience in Berks County. Indeed, it is a hidden gem among the many fine courses in southeastern Pennsylvania.
The Founders recognized that the finest golfing venues available to local golfers nearby required many to drive 30-45 minutes, whereas the location of LedgeRock would enable many to arrive at this Club in less than 15 minutes.
To implement their vision, the Founders acquired 212 contiguous acres of woodlands, farm land and former nurseries on beautiful rolling terrain, adjacent to a number of small, attractive residential developments southwest of Reading. Designed by Rees Jones, esteemed for his role as the "Open Doctor," LedgeRock is challenging but fair, based on Rees Jones' design principles, permitting the golfer to see the challenge ahead, to take dead aim at a reasonable tee shot target, and to select from more than one strategy to succeed in many cases.
LedgeRock's golf course opened in 2006. Since 2011, all of the elements of a first class golf club have been in place. We look forward to welcoming new members and guests.

About Atlantic City Country Club:
On Sept. 11, 1897 wealthy businessmen, mostly made up of AC Hotel owners, met at the Brighton Hotel to discuss the best options for catering to guests arriving to the resort. It was decided that the new game of "golf" was deemed the best plan of action. The name, Country Club of Atlantic City was chosen and land in Northfield was selected as the site. Its easy accessibility to and from the boardwalk hotels via a trolley line that ran from Atlantic City to Somers Point and Ocean City made it the perfect location.
The founding fathers determined that the course would be 18 holes in length and that a clubhouse would be started. Two-hundred members would be admitted. John Reid, the professional golfer brought in to survey the land decided that the bayside property would make the best holes and the subsequently, the first nine holes were completed rather quickly. While still under construction, the course and clubhouse officially opened on June 18, 1898, just in time for the summer season. There was great interest in the club from the beginning and golfers began to play before all 18 holes were completed. Learn more at accountryclub.com.

Tour the Famous 4th Street Cookies factory where the delicious cookies are made with the best tour guides in the business, Tina & Brian Phillips. To make it even sweeter, Philadelphia's favorite cookies are yours for a year! You will receive a yummy box of cookies from Famous 4th Street Cookies shipped right to your door every month for a year.
About Famous 4th Street Cookies:
Authentic Philly History, with a Distinctive, Delicious Taste. Since 1978.
Philly knows food. So many years ago, when Philly diners on 4th Street wanted a really good cookie to complete their meal at their favorite deli, the Famous 4th Street Cookie was born.
It started with Chocolate Chip, and this was no ordinary cookie. It was big, fresh, chewy, and bursting with genuine genuine chocolate chips. People said it was the best cookie they ever had (with apologies to grandma).
Soon people wanted to get boxes of cookies to take home and share with friends. So the Famous 4th Street Cookie Company was created, and in 1982 the popular Reading Terminal Market location was opened. When our cookies were baked, people lined up and couldn't get enough - and it's still the same today.
In 2016 we opened our brand-new, state-of-the-art bakery at 4177 Ridge Avenue. Over the years we've added lots of delicious, decadent cookies like Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, and the amazing Snickerdoodle.
Today you can order gift boxes of cookies for yourself or a friend for any occasion and have them delivered in a beautiful gift box anywhere in the country. Everything gets shipped fresh the same day they're baked! This website makes it so easy to order.
But through it all, some things have not changed: We still use the same tried-and-true recipe for our Chocolate Chip Cookie. We still use only the finest, all-natural ingredients, with no artificial colors or flavors. And we still use only pure genuine chocolate chips.
Our cookies taste homemade because they ARE homemade - with the same premium, all-natural ingredients grandma used. Just like the first day they were served back on 4th Street so many years ago.
