Gala proceeds help support:
Research grants and fellowships
Community grants to programs for the medically underserved
Two programs in response to COVID-19: "Back on the Books" - campaign reminding people to reschedule cancer screening appointment and "Open-QIC" - grants supporting a unique global database of CT scans of Covid-19 patients' lungs, utilizing artificial intelligence to enable the correct management of these patients when they first present with symptoms.
